Description

Scheme to repair the existing flood defence level and provide a consistent standard of protection around Copley. The proposed development will be sited on assets that are both operated and maintained by the Environment Agency for the purpose of its function. The works will comprise of the following:- Installation of sheets piled long the crest of the embankment;- Partial removal of a disused capped culvert beneath the embankment footprint; - Repairs to the existing retaining wall; and- Reprofiling of ground between the retaining wall and viaduct to remove a low spot.
