Description
Lime tree tagged with 00599- Tree appears to be in good health. However, there is a large amount of small to medium sized deadwood in the canopy. This is fairly common for a lime tree. However, taking into consideration the close proximity to the adjacent building and car parking spaces beneath the tree, therefore we would like to remove the deadwood and reduce / pollard the canopy by 7 meters, to the nearest good cutting point, in order to prevent the tree from outgrowing it's current allotted space.Within this application we would like to remove one limb to the west side that is overhanging the roof of the building. We would also like to remove epicormic growth to a height of 4 meters allowing for more light to reach the lower windows of the building. The end result we would like to achieve is similar to many street trees that get pollarded on a rotation of 3-6 years to keep the tree at a good size for it's environment.
