The homeowner would like to remove the tree in its entirety and grind out stump as has concerns about the structural condition due to an active cavity with good amounts of material flowing from it. However other options maybe appropriate such as a reduction as per previous works. The customer would be more than happy to replant a substantial specimen tree in its place, should you find the tree not to be retainable.
