Description

T1 Mature Oak in rear garden - Thin the crown by the removal of epicormic trunk growth and dead branches. Deadwood the visible dying tips by reducing the affected branches to a suitable growth point. Remove the epicormic trunk growth up to the crown break.Remove all major dead wood >2inches diameter and 1m in length.T2 Mature Apple in rear garden - Reduce the crown to the previous reduction points, approx. 2m off height and lateral growth, leaving furnishing growth and back to the lawn edge on the house side of canopy. Remove all major dead wood >2inch diameter and 1m in length. Thin the canopy by the removal of the epicormic growth (water shoots).
