Description

Remove internal, low-level lining to shopfront. Install timber panelling (to line walls throughout front customer area), counters, joinery, wall-mounted shelving and menu boards at ground floor level, relating to proposed use as a cafe/bakery. Replace lighting/fittings. Remove a rear door, widen a doorway, remove partition and doors, to increase accessibility to rear WC at ground floor level. Minor upgrades to existing W.C., riser between ground floor and basement and internal stair and handrail at ground floor level. Retain ground floor drainage point for supply to new cafe counters, remaining 2 to be capped off. Install overdoor heater, (hung from ceiling with Unistrut and concealed within suspended ceiling over front entrance). Install AC cassettes (hung with Unistrut and concealed within existing ceiling voids), and extract ductwork (concealed within existing ceiling void). Proposed ductwork route to make use of existing penetrations in rear wall. Remove modern partition and door at basement level, to increase operational floorspace. Create new opening in existing partition to form doorway. Install new partitions, to be erected below existing basement beams. Board over existing basement fireplace. Install counters and shelving at basement level, to facilitate occupation by cafe/bakery, and ductwork, to pass through existing basement penetrations (above rear doorway). The existing fascia is to be retained - see application ref: 24/00214/A.
