Plan to carry out a lateral reduction of elm tree (t1) which is overhanging the Agora Clinic address - The Agora, 138 Dyke Rd, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN1 5PA from the property of 35a Chatsworth road. The Tree has begun to grow too close to the building and is close to BT wires which may cause damage. To alleviate these issues we are requesting permission to perform a lateral reduction to previous points, reducing the spread of the overhanging branches by approximately 3m. The reaction would be to a height of approximately 10m which would provide clearance from the buildings roof and windows but would still leave the overall height of the tree untouched. A lateral reduction to boundary of 35a and Agora clinic on birch tree (t2) would also be necessary as there are branches hanging onto the roof of the Agora Clinic and this could possibly cause damage in the near future.
