Description

We wish to reduce the height and canopy of the Lime tree (Tilia spp) marked as T2 on the plans by about 20% (approx 2 metres). The tree was inspected in October 2024 by the council tree officer who agreed that pollarding would be an effective way to manage this large tree. The tree gets infested with aphids each year which drip honey dew which develops into sooty mould covering a large part of the garden so we are looking to manage this issue whilst maintaining the health of the tree.
