Application Details
Description
1 Eucalyptus tree This has been pollarded twice, with permission, by the same tree surgeon. As it now has houses built near it and is again large it needs another pollarding, or possibly coppicing. We have a windy garden and concerned about it losing a limb in the increasingly severe storms that sometimes occur. The same tree surgeon has agreed to carry out work on it, either to pollard or coppice it as seems best when he does the work. We wish to keep the tree if possible. Neighbours have also asked if we can reduce it to give more light in their garden.we also wish to carry out more limited work on the following two trees:-2 Pussy Willow - this tree has a large spread and is beginning to hang over the conservatory and also shade a large part of the garden. It's canopy is now touching that of Tree 3 - Cherry Plum which has also grown a wide canopy and is shading the garden. We wish to reduce the heights a little and thin out the branches a bit. They do also shade the neighbouring garden to some degree.
