The tree is a sycamore.On the TreeSketch plan the tree is marked as 'TREE'.We are intending to perform crown thinning to an extent of between 5% and 15% of the area of the crown. We are not intending to cut the tree back to the property boundary as we have no problem it apart from the proximity of some of the tree to the building.In strong winds there is a higher chance of some branches of this tree causing property damage. There is no dispute with the neighbour/owner of the tree about this.
