The intended work would be reducing the height and southern aspect by up to 1m and the northern aspect by up to 1.5m. This would leave a residual height of 4m and width of 2.5 to 3m. Due to the location, it would be prudent to maintain the tree at a smaller size. The work would not be detrimental to the overall health of the tree, nor would it affect the amenity value.
