Tree heavily overhangs adjacent public highway.T4 is infected with Pholiota squarrosa (observed at base of trunk on north aspect). The crown has poor vitality evidenced by scant foliage and excessive dieback of primary and secondary branches.T5 is a poor specimen with significant and sporadic dieback of limbs in entire crown. The removal of T3 and T4 would likely expose this declining tree to increased environmental stress which may present a greater risk of trunk or limb failure. There are currently no fungal bodies observable, however, in light of the declining health of the tree, the land owner would prefer to remove it for safety reasons and re-plant with a similar species. The 3 trees will be re-placed in the same planting pits with 3No. Ginkgo biloba of nursery stock size 14-16cm stem girth.
