Description

We would like to remove a tree from our garden, which we believe to be an elderberry tree. The tree blocks a lot of light from our garden and the garden next door, and a large part of it has fallen into the garden next door (13 Brunswick Road). The tree also drops many berries so we are unable to dry clothes in the garden or put any furniture beneath it as it will stain them. We are also worried the berries will be poisonous to our cats. We feel that having light in our garden is important for our wellbeing. We are happy to replace it with a slightly smaller tree or bush that does not block as much light out, although would prefer to put bushes to the back of the garden instead. We have spoken to neighbours on both sides, and neither have any objections.
