Description

Mature oak tree, broad, heavy crown and is dominant feature in the landscape. A cavity is visible at the main union, and the canopy now overhangs the highway and neighbouring gardens, causing excessive shading and increased wind load on the structure.Reduce crown by approximately 2 metres all round, maintaining natural shape and form, and following the line of previous pruning points where practical.Crown lift to 5 metres above ground level over the highway and footpath to maintain safe clearance.Remove dead, crossing, and damaged branches throughout the canopy.The proposed reduction will alleviate end weight on scaffold limbs, improve wind resilience, and ensure adequate clearance from nearby properties and the highway (TPO21/1981)
