Description

We moved to the property last year and inherited a garden that had been neglected for many years. We are now looking to improve the area by reducing the size of some tress, allowing more light into our garden and that of our neighbours, and removing dead and dangerous trees. As you can see from the supporting documentation we are looking to work on five areas. Tree 1 - felling of a dead common ivy tree which is in danger of falling. Stump to remain. Tree 2 - felling of a common ivy tree which is growing at an angle making it unsafe. Stump to remain. Tree 3 - felling of a holly tree which is insecure and in danger of falling onto our oil tank. Stump to remain. Tree(s) 4 - reduction in height by approximately a third of seven Lawson's cypress trees on boundary so they are of consistent height. Thus, allowing more light into our garden and that of our neighbours. By maintaining the height of these trees we hope this would also allow them to flourish and become fuller, Tree 5 - reduction in height by approximately half of one Goat Willow tree. As evidenced by the attached photograph, the height of this tree needs to be reduced ASAP due to existing branches growing around electric lines. Please feel free to arrange an inspection visit.
