T4 - Common Hazel - Remove dead branches with a diameter of 75mm or more and reduce northern lateral branch by 1.5m to remove dead wood overhanging public footpath. Reason - Natural multi-stem form historically managed to retain a few large stems, smaller stems cut regularly to ground level. Historical crown lift. Dieback in northern lateral branch overhanging public footpath. Southern crown overhangs road, potential obstruction to high-sided vehicles. Dead branch in upper northern crown T5 Common Hazel - . Fell, Leaving Stump Just Above Ground Level - Reason - Natural multi-stem form historically managed to retain a few large stems, smaller stems cut regularly to ground level. Historical crown lift. Tree appears dead with no live growth on stems or branches, however pruned smaller stems are shooting from ground level. T6 Common Hazel - Reduce height to 2.5m and prune lateral branches to balance form - Reason - Natural multi-stem form historically managed to retain a few large stems, smaller stems cut regularly to ground level. Historical crown lift. Scattered branch dieback and twig dieback in overextended lateral branches. T8 - Sycamore - Crown Lift all around to 2.5m. - Historical crown reduction. Low branch overhanging footway. T15 - Pedunculate Oak - Prune to Clear structure/wires/buildings by 2m - Prune sub-lateral branches in northern crown overhanging bungalow to clear roof by 2m - Notable tree and very good open grown example of species. Appears to have had little management apart from some minor historical pruning of lower sub-lateral branches leaving a few dead stubs. Northern crown close top roof of neighbouring bungalow. Resident concerned about shading and proximity to house. Sympathetic pruning agreed with tree owner to mitigate shading and to clear roof. T15 - Pedunculate Oak - Crown lift all around to a maximum 6m from ground level. Prune sub-lateral branches only, retain main branches and crown structure. Reason - Notable tree and very good open grown example of species. Appears to have had little management apart from some minor historical pruning of lower sub-lateral branches leaving a few dead stubs. Northern crown close top roof of neighbouring bungalow. Resident concerned about shading and proximity to house. Sympathetic pruning agreed with tree owner to mitigate shading and to clear roof.
