Description

G19 Common beech Fagus sylvatica - Early mature, Two trees with vertical main stems. The main stem of the northern most tree in the northeast corner divides at about 2 to 3 metres into two vertical primary limbs.Some initial reduction of the northern most primary limb is considered likely to help structurally whilst it should help toward addressing the union encourage one main central leader. Some of the branch ends are close to overhead cables over Crossbeck Road. "Target prune - reduce north most primary limb with branching over the road by 6 to 7 metres (removal of a maximum of 1/3 its height from the union. Cut back (target prune) branch ends from cables to leave 2.5 metres clearance.(see Appendix 6 in Report reference 21841 - details and images)T12 and T22a considered under application 24/02518/CPN
