Application Details
Description

T1 Beech - Crown lift over the highway to 5.2m above ground. Reduce back canopy by pruning the tertiary branch work to maintain clearance of 3m to adjacent building, flats 1-4b. T2 Lime - To remove basal shoots an epicormic growth to a maximum of 5m from ground level. Also to clean through the canopy to remove major dead wood and broken / crossing branches and to lightly reduce overall height by some 4m and reshape as necessary to leave a balanced and attractive form. The tree is 20m in height and reduction would be to approx. 16m. Reduction would be back to suitable nodes leaving a strong framework of healthy small diameter branches and twigscapable of producing dense leaf cover during the following season. Undertaking crown reduction rather than topping, the cuts created would normally expose a much smaller proportion of heartwood or ripewood than of sapwood and would not exceed100mm in diameter.T3 Beech - Crown lift over the highway to 5.2m above ground. Reduce back canopy by pruning the tertiary branch work to maintain clearance of 3m to adjacent building, flats 1-4a. T4,T5 and T6 considered under application 24/01391/CPN.
