T1: Sweet Chestnut - Create a structural pollard approximately 2m beneath previous reduction points, considering the species, this will "reset" the tree.The maximum branch length reduction will be no greater than 2.5m leaving a wound no greater that 10-12cm.Previously reduced using crotch dropping technique which has caused the top of the tree to become weakened and misshapen. The applicant is concerned about the safety of the tree in high winds. It overhangs a road and receives the full force of maritime winds.
