T3. T3 - T7 Monterey Pines: a) Several of the lower side branches are nearing the building at 3 Powell Rd and I have been approached by the neighbour to reduce the branches in length. The request is to reduce the length of branches in proximity to Powell Rd and 14 Alton Rd to create a gap of 2-3 metres from the buildings. b) Remove the dead, diseased and rubbing/crossing branches to avoid the possibility of them breaking off and dropping onto the properties (14 Alton Rd and 3 Powell Rd) or their outbuildings in the gardens below. 2 areas of rubbing branches are considered in urgent need of attention due to the extent of the damage already incurred and the mass of the branches involved. c) The limbs are over-extended above the roof terrace and ideally should be taken back to the main stem as re-growth is unlikely, maintaining a 3 metre clearance above the floor area. D) Remove sufficient growth to clear a gap of 0.5 metres around BT line to 3 Powell Road. T8 & T9 Holm Oak: a) Remove sufficient growth to clear a gap of 0.5 metres around the BT line that is routed through the branches of the trees b) Reduce the length of the branches overhanging Alton Road to provide a clearance of 2-3 metres above the pavement and 5 metres above the carriageway surface to avoid damage to high sided vehicles. c) Reduce the length of the branches to provide 2-3 metres clearance to both the property at 14 Alton Road and the garden below.
