T1 Scots pine in front garden on NE boundary with No 24 Western Avenue Fell to allow growh of adjacent Metasequoia Glyptostroboides Aurea (Dawn Redwood)-one of a number of specimen trees/conifers planted in the garden which is open to the public under the National Garden scheme The pine is a poor specimen and the Redwood will add far more to the diversity and ecological appeal of the Conservation Area It is understood that a redwood was in fact recently proposed by the Tree Officer to be planted in the next door garden but a suitable location could not be found
