T1 Silver Birch, FellThis is a large Birch tree in close proximity to houses, a busy road and various cables with visible signs of dieback high in the canopy. This dieback is a clear indicator of this trees decline. Undoubtedly more deadwood wood will continue to appear, increasing the risk that is already present. The old driveway that was laid some 20 plus years ago, and is likely to blame as the root flares are fairly non-existent. This raising of ground level and compaction of roots is finally taking its toll on this mature Birch.
