Application Details
Description
T1-Thuja Plicata:The tree is showing clear signs of physiological dysfunction throughout the entire crown when compared against a healthy specimen of the same species. There is obvious dieback within the crown with limited expected longevity. Although no evidence is attached to support my opinion it is clear that the area in question has an issue with underlying water and historically trees have fallen causing excessive amounts of damage. Fell as close to ground level as practically possible. T2-Thuja Plicata: The tree is showing clear signs of physiological dysfunction throughout the entire crown when compared against a healthy specimen of the same species. There is obvious dieback within the crown with limited expected longevity. Fell as close to ground level as practically possible. Both trees are clearling in serious decline and if left unmanaged are at an ever increasing risk of causing damage to person or property due to the compromised state of the rooting system. Replanting is not recommended in this case because the applicant has already planted replacement trees to replace to trees which have already fallen over.
