There is one large tree in the front garden of number 20. A Crimson King Maple. #T1 on the sketch plan.Proposed work: to fell the tree.Reason for work: Tree is too big for its location. The branches extend 3m over adjoining neighbours property. The branches extend over the footpath and partially obscure the street light. There is risk to the neighbours drive from root growth. There is risk to nearby drains from root growth. Bird faeces fall on neighbours parked cars and on the public footpath.Plans to replant. There is an existing beech hedge which will be able to flourish on removal of the tree.We sought the advice of two local aboriculturalists as to what it was sensible to do with the size of the tree and the encroachment over the neighbours property.
