Description

Sweet Chestnut (T1) - Raise lower crown to approximately 5m from ground level by pruning epicormic growth back to source. Carry out a tip reduction on the southerly side of the tree to create a clearance of approximately 3m from dwelling. Remove any deadwood. Carry out a tip reduction on any overextended lateral branches from within crown to create a more natural shape and balance. All pruning cuts will not exceed a branch diameter of 75mm, pruning to suitable growth points.
