Description
T1 Norway Maple: Fell to ground level It is too near the church roof and will cause problems in the future until it is pruned regularly. Our church roof has just had new tiles and the cost of +?50,000, we do not want to damage these. So far in the last three years we have spent nearly £1200 on pruning this tree. The church just doesn?t have the funds to continue with these costs as they rise. The are underground graves near where the roots are spreading and we are concerned that the roof or rooves (spelling?) of these may be damaged and cave in.The tree itself is not native and we are trying to cultivate a natural environment in the church yard with native trees, wild bugs and beasties, slow worms, bats, wild bees, frogs, hedgehogs and wild flowers etc and we want to ensure that the churchyard is a natural environment.T 2 Sycamore: Crown raise to 4m over grave stones Prune back over extended limbs only by 2 to 3 m and to allow a natural shape.
