Description

To the NE of the property a conifer has, some time ago, been planted in a half barrel on a lawn close to the wall of the property. This has since grown, probably beyond the expectations of the original planter of the tree, and as it is now the height of the building, has split the half barrel, is touching the building in places, and doubtless its' roots are well into the ground. Also currently the foliage is 50% brown and dead and the state of the tree is definitely not healthy. As the property which we have just acquired suffers substantially from damp, removal of vegetation close to the property is recommended. Additionally the tree is very close to interfering with both the power and telephone cables supplying the property. In terms of protecting the fabric of the property I would seek permission to remove the tree in its' entirety.The tree is believed to be a Lawsons Cypress.
