Description

T1 - Yew. Fell to ground level and grind stump to make space for new tree replacement strategy. Reason: T1 is in decline, whilst a Yew tree moves in and out of senescence throughout its life cycle, the lack of internal growth and the lack of evidence of the potential for internal growth leads to the conclusion that this tree will not be a feature beyond its current state. T1 will likely fail with the next 10 years. Tree replacement as stated within APPENDIX A will off-set that loss and give a net gain in both ecological and aesthetic value.
