Description

Landscape work to churchyard including relaying existing Yorkstone flags at the church entrance, forming a new garden (small lawn, new shrub and perennial planting) improving access, installing new street furniture (benches, cycle racks, bins), installing ornamental steel railings, on the southern boundary, relocation and returning the Georgian stone sundial base to the south front, with a new dial, building steps to the listed Cartwright monument, installing interpretation signs highlighting historic features of the churchyard, conservation and repair of listed churchyard monuments, installing a new path linking the north side of Church End Gardens to the existing main path through the churchyard, removal of one tree at the front of the church and planting of new trees elsewhere in the churchyard
