Application pursuant to Section 96A of the Town and Country Planning Act for a non-material amendment to planning permission 17/6714/EIA dated 30/10/2018 (as amended by 23/4545/NMA dated 24/04/2024) for the Demolition of the existing building and erection of a new building for use as a waste transfer station and associated A5 Edgware road/ Geron way junction improvements. The application proposes amendments to Condition 2 (Approved Plans) in respect of the following: revisions to the building footprint and internal layout, modification to the external site layout, adjustments to the roof design, revised landscaping scheme, modification to elevational treatments, reduction in overall building height by 1.5 metre, relocation of staff accommodation block, relocation of building plant to an external rooftop plant area, decoupling of the building from the A5 retaining wall structure, revisions to the car parking layout including entry and exit arrangements, relocation of roof access stairs, and reconfiguration of external crew WC facility, smoking shelter, cycle store and electrical substation. Amendments are also sought to the wording of Condition 16 (Site Access), Condition 21 (Car Parking) and Condition 24 (Landscape Management Plan) to reflect the above proposed amendments.
