Description

Sustainable Drainage (SuDS) Scheme including: A section of Burnt Oak Brook will be realigned, taking it out of the concrete channel and meandering it into the park; A basin will be constructed to reduce flood risk by increasing flood storage in the park; Wetlands will be constructed to flood storage in the park and improving water quality; Some public realm features are proposed to be undertaken in the park, such as footpath realignment, planting, removal of trees, relocation of the playground and green gym; Some entrance improvements and landscaping works are also proposed at the entrance of the park from Orange Hill road; Works mainly along the river in the northern section of the park and the central section of the park where wetlands are proposed
