DESCRIPTION OF WORKRef: Irish Yew Reduction & Portuguese Laurel Reduction/Top(These works have been done in the past and works are purley for health, appearance and maintenance. Yew works are also for the repairs recently done to the wall.)G1 - T1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 & 11 - Irish Yew Trees (Taxus baccata ?Fastigiata?)Reduction of 11 Irish Yew Trees? Using mixed techniques - ground level techniques, ladders and hand held/hand held mechanical tools we will reduce the Irish Yew trees to approximately 6.5-7 foot in height. This is for health, maintenanace and to allow the wall located near to the trees to be able to breathe and dry from repairs and continue to be a structually sound wall and for the Yews to also flourish and keep their appearance.? All arisings will be chipped and removed from site; unless otherwise specified by the client.T1 - Portuguese Laurel (Prunus lusitanica)Reduction/Toppings of Portuguese Laurel? Using a mix of arb techniques ? possible climbing techniques; by way of rope and harness, ground level techniques, ladders and hand held/hand held mechanical tools we will remove the tops of the Portuguese Laurel to match the height of the hedges. This for health, appearance and maintenance. To keep the Laurel in keeping and height of surrounding hedges.? All arisings to be chipped and removed from site; unless otherwise specified by the client.* All work carried out to BS 3998 ? work area to be cordoned off to create a safe working environment.* We will ensure no nesting birds are disturbed under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000 and the European Habitats Directive 1992/ Nesting Birds Directive.
