Section 211 Notice for the Removal of an Apple Tree in a Conservation Area: This notice is submitted under Section 211 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to inform the local planning authority of the intention to remove an apple tree (Malus domestica) situated in our garden in Wingrave. There is no TPO on this tree. Tree Details:Species: Apple (Malus domestica) - 1 of 7 fruit trees in our garden.Location: Domestic garden Approximate Height & Spread: 3.5m, 2m Reason for Removal:Improved light: Our garden in Wingrave contains 7 fruit trees, the apple tree is one of these. We have a further 6 deciduous trees in our garden. Removing it will improve the light levels for the other plants and shrubs around it - which currently suffer as a result of the crowdingReduce pests: The removal of the tree would help us to reduce the pests caused by having 7 fruit trees (particularly vermin) The tree is to be fully removed, including stump grinding where necessary. A suitable replacement tree will be planted, likely an evergreen, in an alternate location away from the other fruit trees.
