Description

I refer to application 24/03032/ATP where the felling of the trees was refused.This request is therefore to remove the overhanging branches mentioned in the above application. As stated in the above application, removing the overhanging branches would in most cases reduce the trees to a single bare trunk (due to most of them having growth on just one side). In this state, they would be an eyesore and visually unacceptable, would hardly be a valuable amenity asset and would certainly not contribute to the character of the area.However, if this is the desired result and since they are very close to our boundary, are overhanging our property and are severely affecting and disturbing the growth and available light of our own trees, removal of the overhanging branches appears to be the only option.
