Description
The trees border Cruickshank Drive, Wendover between numbers 40 and 48. They have become very overgrown and obscure the street lighting. The residents of those houses wish to have them pruned so they are as they were when we moved in so that they are 1 metre back from the road and reduced in hight so they no longer obstruct lorries passing. The pine tree outside number 48 is very close to that house, the branches have grown so they almost touch the house. We would like them reduced in length To keep the area looking nice we would like this work done from the carpark entrance at the junction of Cruickshank Drive and Wittingham Avenue to number 48 Cruickshank Drive inclusive.This work will mean we once again have street lighting, passing lorries will not knock off branches when they are trying to get through (this happens weekly with the bin lorry) and our houses will not be put at risk from falling branches or vermin entering the roofs from the trees (one of the houses has already had to have an infestation of glis glis removed).Please note that we all like the woodland and merely want to enhance it. We have done quite a lot of work ourselves to keep it clear and looking nice and having these trees pruned will make the area look cared for.The trees have been identified by a tree surgeon as mixed Acer campestre and Prunus cerasifer plus one pine. We wish to have the crown lift and reduce all broadleaves to 5 metres and 1 metre back from the curb line. Prune branches around street lights to give a 1 metre clearance. We would like the branches of the pine to be reduced by 1 metre over the roadThe trees are not being removed.Permission was granted some years ago for 2 trees outside and very close to number 46 to be removed and this has allowed the remaining trees to flourish
