We are seeking to remove this non-native leyland cypress tree.As is typical for this type of tree it has rapidly grown and is now at a substantial height. It is posing increased management challenges. Due to its substantial height and spread, this tree could become a risk in high winds or storms. Leyland cypress trees are also prone to toppling in adverse weather conditions, especially if their root systems are not sufficiently robust.The tree is in a poor state of health and out of place in the landscape.
