Horse Chestnut numbered 129 on the plan of trees at Spinney Hall.The application is to reduce the branch by about 1.5 meters.I have attached an annotated photo of the tree, showing the branch: It is about 6 meters long from the site of the damage from the dropped branch, and the recommendation was to reduce it by 25%. So as shown on the picture, I seek to remove then end 1.5 meters leaving 4.5 meters of branch. The purpose is to protect the tree by reducing the strain on it where the branch dropped.
