Description

For ease of reference, tree numbers utilised in existing arboricultural information (undertaken by third party) that forms part of planning submissions have been detailed below.Proposed works: Removal of 3No trees: T13 - Lawson CypressT14 - Ash (Common)T17 - Western Red CedarTrees to be felled to ground level and stumps ground-out. The location of these trees can be seen on the attached Tree Location Plan (TLP) (Ref: 735661-452-TLP-FR-01) and Tree Retention and Removals Plan (TRRP) (Ref: 735661-452-DRW-TRRP-FR-01).These trees are subject to TPO/1991/No.31/G2. It should be noted that as the TPO was made in 1991, the correct identification of TPO'd trees cannot be confirmed. An assessment has been made based on the size of stems, canopy and overall stature of the trees that implies they would be present in 1991. Onsite clarification with the LPA Tree Officer to determine which trees are subject to a TPO is recommended as part of this application.Reason for removal: Trees generally in poor condition, or of low quality with reduced life expectancy, and trees will be significantly harmed by consented scheme (Planning Ref: 15/04106/AOP & 19/00902/ADP), thus making their retention untenable.Replacement Planting: Recommend replacement planting to be provided in similar location, but with greater separation from existing tree groups so as to ensure adequate space for trees to reach maturity. These would consist of heavy standards of either native or naturalised species and would be planted in accordance with BS 8545:2014 Trees: from nursery to independence in the landscape: Recommendations.
