Application Details
Description
L1: Lime, Crown reduction to previous points. Deadwood where necessary. Crown lift canopy to allow 5m ground clearance and leave the main stem clear of any growth to 5m. the reduction request to the sides of the canopy is to balance the crown symmetry following the top height reduction. Reason: To reduce the leaf litter, the canopy is also above the Social clubs seating area and the reduction in the canopy size will reduce the honeydew falling onto the seating. The crown lift is to allow low level to penetrate into the seating area. The overall effect of the reduction is to mirror the crown size of the neighbouring Horse chestnut and additional Lime and therefore increase the amenity value of the three trees acting as one group. HC1: Horse chestnut, remove epicormic growth to 5m to leave the main stem clear of any growth to 5m. Reason: The crown lift is to allow low level to penetrate into the seating area of the Social club but also to increase the amenity value of the tree by creating a clear stem to give a more characteristic visual of the tree.
