Description

I am seeking consent to fell two trees in addition to the tree safety works specification previously submitted. These trees are urgent in terms of priority. One is a stem of an Ash tree (#96) on Bell Gate Drive, the main visitor route into the garden. It is heavily leaning over a bench and has extensive stem decay in addition to showing signs of ash die back. The other tree is a young yew (#2052) which has major deadwood in the crown and an extensive stem cavity. It is impacting a structural wall and leaning over Dido's cave which is accessible to the public.
