Description

Beech (T005) - dismantle to ground level after a 5 day notice. Mature Beech situated within falling distance of continually occupied property and barn structure used by people and livestock frequently posing a high risk. Height:14m and DBH: 85cm. Extensive cavity at the base extending up the trunk. Ganoderma sp present at the base on the north and west side. Probe reaches into the northern entrance of the cavity approximately 50cm at near ground level. Inner bark of trunk at immediate ground level soft and spongy suggesting buttress roots likely compromised. Diameter at base is approximately 103cm. Historic tree tag number (red tag) 00939 from previous survey.
