Description

T1 Yew - Remove lower growth on tree that is extended towards barn. This to include removal of 4 low limbs.The remaining growth extended across towards barn is to be reduced by around 1.5 meters to give a more upright balanced shape to the tree with around 4 meters clearance over ground on the barn side.This work is in order to improve the overall balance and form of the tree which currently has a very one sided crown shape, biassed towards the adjacent barn. The work is also to improve access on the drive and to give better clearance from the barn roof. T2 Copper Beech - Crown reduce by around 1.5 meters in height and spread to a well balanced, more compact tree with reduced sail area. Remove all major dead wood and sever Ivy at base of tree.This tree is infected with Kretzschmaria deusta and hence there will be an increased risk of failure. The reduction work specified will reduce the sail area and lessen the risk of failure without compromising the visual appeal of the tree. This tree is now showing signs of decline with a sparser than average foliage density and die-back of some branches.
