Description

T1 Turkey Oak - Remove to ground level. Reason for works - rapid decline and nearly dead. There are significant Armillaria fruiting bodies and Ganoderma brackets around the base, where much of the bark has fallen off, showing the dysfunctional cambium layer. Significant dieback in the canopy. Re-planting - With a native or naturalised tree such as Oak, Hornbeam or Field Maple.
