Description

Ash Trees - Fell to ground level 30 dead/ predominantly dead (>75% of the canopy area) , majority of the 30 trees to be removed are roadside trees and pose an unacceptable risk. Replacement tree planting will be undertaken following the removal of the Ash trees and comprise of 10 English Oak trees, 10 Common Beech trees and 10 Lime trees planted as 6/8cm light standards along with a native mix of smaller under-storey species comprising 10x Hazel, 10x Hawthorn, 10x Alder Buckthorn, 10x Rowan and 10x Bird Cherry planted as 60/80cm whips. The replacement trees will be planted along the north western boundary of the site adjacent the main A252 Maidstone Road.
