G1 - White Poplar 6no. - We propose to pollard all six trees at approx. 8m. The trees are located in an alleyway between Loudon Court, no8 Lockholt Close and no's 20-24 Springwood Drive. They have extensive lateral growth over the adjacent property's with a few obvious defects such as included bark. Due to their current size, location and direction of inclination toward the adjacent houses it makes them very intimidating and difficult to manage. The trees offer a huge amenity and landscape value, therefore a pollard at approx. 8m is sort in order to reduce the risk of failure onto the adjacent properties but also to help prolong the life of the trees. If this is agreed we will give them a new maintenance regime and re-pollard them every 3 to 5 years or when deemed necessary.
