Description

Holly tree in the front garden to be reduced in height by 2.5 metres to prevent it from interfering with the canopy of the sycamore tree next to it. Smaller tree next to the Holly tree to be reduced by 1.5 metres, this is overhanging the footpath and the road and the weight of the canopy is such that it may become a safety issue for pedestrians and road users. A relatively small reduction in height will remove the majority of excess weight preventing the overhang and allowing the plant to grow thicker and stronger lower down reducing future risk. This tree is also obscuring the street lighting.
