Forestry Commission Ref: 019/1871/2023. Restocking Parcels 1(a) Light thinning of oak standards to improve crowns of remaining standards. Fell small coupes of hornbeam coppice of up to 0.24ha and up to 3 coupes this 10-year period; 1(b) Light thinning of oak standards and occasional birch to free crowns of remaining trees. Fell 2 small coupes of hornbeam, up to 0.25ha; 1(c ) Fell some oak from around the bracken area to create light conditions suitable for restocking. Oak planted or natural regen if possible. Wild service planted. Protect in tubes, Light thinning of oak standards to free crowns of remaining trees. Coppice one or two coupes of hornbeam, max coupe size 0.25ha; 1(d) Light thinning of oak standards to relieve crowns of remaining oaks. Coppice 2 or 3 small coupes in the 10-year plan period. Coupe size up to 0.25ha; 1(e) Light thinning of oak standards to free canopy of remaining oak and to ensure the veteran tree has space for its crown. Coppice 2 or 3 small coupes up to 0.25ha each.
