T1 Willow, matured - to undertake substantial crown reduction (7 - 8 metres) and strip peg, allowing rebalance of the structure. Major fractures have occurred with a recent large bough fracture which blocked Mill Lane and damaged fence. The tree is in close proximity to listed building (Chilham Water Mill) and two properties opposite. The lane is used frequently by vehicles, residents and pedestrians as it gives access to Julieberrie Grave. The tree sits over substantial underground infrastructure.
