Description

Discharge of Conditions 3 and 4 of planning ref: LA08/2025/0799/F which read: Conditon 3: Within twenty four hours prior to demolition, the existing buildings on the site shall be checked for bat presence by a competent ecologist and all demolition works shall be monitored by a competent ecologist. A report of the demolition shall be submitted to the Planning Authority for approval in writing within 2 weeks. Reason: To ensure protection to bats and their roosts. Condition 4: No demolition of buildings or structures shall take place between 1 March and 31 August inclusive, unless a competent ecologist has undertaken a detailed check for active bird’s nests immediately before demolition and provided written confirmation that no nests are present/birds will be harmed and/or there are appropriate measures in place to protect nesting birds. Any such written confirmation shall be submitted to the Planning Authority within 6 weeks of works commencing. Reason: To protect breeding birds.
