Discharge of condition 4 of LA08/2023/2912/F which reads: Prior to operation of the hot food premises, a three stage extraction ventilation system shall be installed to include: - • Filtration • Electrostatic Precipitation • Chemical Neutralisation Alternatively, the services of a suitably qualified ventilation engineer shall be employed to produce a scheme designed to achieve a level of odour commensurate with the level of odour control required following their completion of a risk assessment for odour. Reference should be made to the guidance contained within the ‘Control of Odour and Noise from Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Systems (2nd EMAQ Edition 06- 05-2022)’. Prior to any measures being implemented, the scheme (and odour risk assessment) should be submitted for written approval. To enable the Planning Authority to assess the suitability of a ventilation scheme, information should be provided in accordance with the risk assessment within the above mentioned EMAQ Document. Prior to the commencement of cooking operations, the applicant shall ensure that the approved scheme is properly installed and commissioned. Reason: To protect the amenity of neighbouring dwellings with respect to odour.
