Description

Upgrades to the existing Water Treatment Works (WTW) at Castor Bay to include a New Water Pumping Station (WPS) with below ground reinforced concrete basement to contain 6 new pumps, with above ground steel portal frame, external cladding and pitched roof. Erection of new High Voltage (HV) building, 2 No. surge vessels, 2 No. valve buildings, 4 No. electrical transformers surrounded by a 3.2 metre high noise barrier fence. Also minor modifications to the existing access road, and the creation of 2 No. new access points. The laying of new pipe infrastructure and associated works.
